This paper identifies possible regional partners for US and UN military operations. The author describes the basics of the US strategy for peace operations, explains the geopolitical situation in different parts of the world and identifies several organizations which could play a role in peace operations. The paper concludes that a wide range of regional organizations with primarily security mandates already exists.
