Given Russia’s revisionist policies towards the OSCE, which include trying to end the autonomy of key OSCE institutions, this paper argues that the US will most likely increase its engagement in the organization. Indeed, by putting big issues on the OSCE’s table, Washington may be able to engineer a breakthrough that could lead to agreements on more structural issues.
