This conference report provides an overview of the social resilience challenges and initiatives of Singapore in the aftermath of the July 2005 London bombings. Major topics of discussion include the concept of multiculturalism as an official state policy and the review of the management of difference in Singapore. Particular emphasis is given to Canada's successful implementation of multiculturism policies and initiatives.
