This publication provides an analysis of documented trade in small arms, with a particular focus on South-east Asia. More specifically, the report identifies 1) the top and major small arms exporters and importers throughout the world in 2016; 2) the most and least transparent major exporters of small arms; 3) which South-east Asian countries have small arms and ammunition production capabilities; 4) the largest exporters of small arms and ammunition in South-east Asia; 5) the largest importers of small arms and ammunition in the region; and more.
