This paper focuses on the politicization of humanitarianism. The author discusses questions raised by David Reiff on the source of this politicization, the effect on victims and possibilities for reactions. He suggests possible answers to the questions raised, and calls on humanitarians to think about what they are doing and what they believe in order to find their own stance toward this politicization.
