This brief recommends six ways to deal with the refugee and IDP problems that exist in Iraq. The proposals include 1) creating inclusive economic incentives; 2) promoting small- and medium-sized enterprises, but in ‘conflict-sensitive’ ways; 3) linking the protection of human rights with the delivery of assistance; 4) providing mandatory psycho-social support to those in need, etc.
