This paper provides an analysis of the North Korean nuclear crisis. In particular, it looks at the factors that led to the North Korean nuclear test on 9 October 2006 and the implications of this test. The study also examines the evolution of the North Korean nuclear crisis and outlines the various historical factors that have determined the course of events.
