This paper examines US-Uzbekistan relations from 2001 to 2005. The study considers national security interests, the political dynamics of Central Asia region and Russia’s role in relations between the US and Uzbekistan. The authors also provide a detailed chronology of the bilateral relationship between 2001 and the end of 2005.
