This report describes how the Danish armed forces have come under political pressure to accept a range of state-building tasks, including post-conflict reconstruction support. The author analyzes how the Danish armed forces have approached and prioritized reconstruction support and examines how their performance might be improved. The report closes with a discussion of which political, organization, and educational initiatives would enhance the current performance of reconstruction support tasks.
