This paper examines various scenarios for regional cooperation in South Asia. It provides background and an analytical framework for a new look at the factors that could trigger regionalism and security building. It also discusses whether the decisive push will come from the reinvigoration of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation. Further, the paper analyzes India's, Pakistan's and Sri Lanka's approach to regionalism.
