This article examines the evolution of organized crime after the fundamental political changes in Kyrgyzstan and Georgia. First, the paper looks at different factors that caused regime change and explores the criminal culture in both countries' business and politics. Subsequently, the paper assesses their impact and compares further political and social developments in Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
