This paper provides a general look at the issues of corruption including the main debates, main actors, progress that has been made and prospects for the future. The author further offers a more in-depth look at corruption through a number of thematic frames: corruption and human rights, corruption and democracy, corruption in conflict and peacebuilding and finally corruption and development.
