This report summarizes the opinions voiced and conclusions reached at the inaugural meeting of the Consortium of Non-Traditional Security Studies in Asia held in Singapore in January 2007. Topics discussed from an Asian point of view include non-tradtional security threats, the concept of sovereignty and the nation-state and human security.
