This report addresses armed conflict in Africa, and in particular, weapons proliferation. It concludes that nearly all of the weapons used in African conflicts are not made in Africa, which, according to the author, points to the need for global action to control the trade in weapons and prevent weapons, especially small arms, from reaching Africa’s conflict zones.
