This paper addresses the presence of jihadist activities in the cities of Ceuta and Melilla, the two Spanish enclaves in North Africa. The authors estimate that the jihadist militancy is extended all over the Spanish territories, however, it is far worse in Ceuta, in the neighborhood of Principe Alfonso. They affirm that this district represents one of the most favorable social situations for the jihadist recruitment in Spain.
