This paper addresses the local implications of terrorism. The author argues that by solving local issues that come along with terrorism, one can not only diffuse and dismantle the single narrative, but ultimately tackle the threat altogether. The issues in question are socio-economic deprivation, ghettoization and alienation. He also claims that by tackling these issues at the local level, one can also tackle terrorism on a global scale.
