Publication

This paper addresses the state of affairs in the US military with regard to defense transformation. It discusses the founding precepts of US defense transformation, its conceptualization under Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and the successes and failures of its implementation. The paper concludes with a discussion of possible implications for both the US and Singapore's defense industry.
