This brief summarizes the discussions and results of a state visit of Russia's Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov to India in February 2008, commenting on both countries' cooperation in the fields of defense, energy and trade. The author states that Russia may be unhappy with the growing strategic proximity between India and the US but it knows well that this is not aimed at hurting the Russian interests.
