This brief discusses the results of Pakistan's parliamentary elections of 18 February 2008 and assesses the outlook for a stable government. It summarizes major events of the turbulent pre-election phase, presents the final election results as well as the composition of the National Assembly of Pakistan and comments on the expected complicated government formation. The author argues that the best thing to do for Musharraf is to quit.
