This status paper provides information on the status of National Preventive Mechanism implementation in each OPCAT signatory. The first part presents a table of short summaries. The second part presents more detailed information about each country. Information is presented on a country-by-country basis by region: Africa, Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe and Central Asia.
