This paper addresses the formation and composition of the Pakistani coalition government after the February 2008 parliamentary elections. It indicates which ministries go to which coalition party, introduces the persons that hold the offices of foreign minister, defense minister, finance minister as well as other important government members and analyzes the ethnic composition of the government. The author states that it is far from certain that the new government will survive and consolidate.
