This paper looks at the growing impact ‘datafication’ is having on diplomacy. More specifically, it explores 1) the ‘information wealth’ that’s now available at the diplomat’s fingertips; 2) the real-time decision-making that’s now possible; and 3) the digitally-driven democratization of policy development.
