This paper looks at South Asia’s security landscape, with a particular emphasis on the rising tensions between India and Pakistan. While bilateral relations between the two countries did stabilize after the US’ intervention in Afghanistan, disagreements over Kashmir are once again escalating tensions. In order to preserve regional stability and peace, the text’s author predictably calls on Indian and Pakistani leaders to dampen their rhetoric and restart the stalled peace process.
