2008

This publication provides a review of broad challenges to Chinese national security. The first chapter provides an anthology of short works on issues regarding the "rise" of China. Chapters two and three analyze the relationship between China and Tibet. Chapters four and five review security challenges created by the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. The final chapter looks at the limited water supply to Beijing and the way the 2008 Olympics is likely to exacerbate this issue.
