This report focuses on 1) how the Palestine refugees living in ‘temporary’ Lebanese camps since 1948 perceive the recent influx of 1.5 million Syrian refugees, many of whom are unregistered, and 2) how the mass migration has affected their living conditions, identity and status as “old” refuges. Given that many Palestinians now see themselves as somehow neglected, the report also looks at the potential risks they pose for social unrest or even terrorism.
