This essay describes the developmental history and the structure of the Common European Security and Defence Policy (CESDP). The authors describe how the CESDP affects and doesn't affect the legal neutrality of several EU and non-EU nations and provide proposals on how those countries can work within the frameworks of the CESDP without sacrificing their official neutrality.
