Publication

This publication presents an overview of the cooperation and assistance activities that have been carried out for arms transfer and small arms and light weapons (SALW) in which Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) countries were involved. More specifically, the paper 1) identifies potential gaps in the types of assistance provided to date; 2) highlights areas of good practice that could be applied elsewhere; 3) proposes mechanisms through which the coordination of this type of assistance could be improved; and more.
