This report assesses the approaches of 23 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region towards the challenges and opportunities represented by cyberspace. More specifically, the text reviews topics such as 1) government cyber policies and legislative approaches; 2) the appropriate responses to financial cybercrime; 3) the relationship between businesses and digital economic strength; and 4) the different levels of cyber social awareness. The report also features useful data on fixed-line and mobile-based Internet access across the region, to include the latter’s impact on connectivity and the opening of new digital markets.
