This report presents recommendations of the Energy Experts meeting held within the framework of the EWI Project: Energy Security and Cooperation within the "G8 Plus" (including India and China). The key issues that were identified for Russia’s G8 Presidency in 2006 are ensuring access to energy resources (primarily oil and gas deposits), ensuring secure access to energy transport, nuclear energy and renewable energy resources and energy conservation.
