This paper examines how integrated approaches to disarmament, demobilization and reintegration (DDR) and post-conflict security programming have been applied in Sudan. The context for the analysis is the Sudan-wide Comprehensive Peace Agreement, while the primary focus is the design and implementation of DDR in the southern part of the country. The study covers the period from 2005 until the end of 2007.
