This study presents and explores a new approach to evaluating the relative power of air forces. It proposes and then tests a model to examine the balance of power dynamics between the Israel Air Force (IAF) and the combined air forces of an Arab war coalition. The findings show that the IAF enjoys a qualitative advantage in both offensive capabilities and defensive power vis-à-vis such a coalition, notwithstanding its numerical inferiority.
