This study presents and analyzes the findings of the 2003 Israeli annual public opinion survey on national security affairs. It discusses the population's mood, changed perceptions and expectations, and views on the Israel Defense Forces and policy implications. The study's results indicate that in 2003, Israeli Jews adopted a more conciliatory position on policy issues relating to the peace process than in the past.
