This publication contains seven articles that look at the involvement of women in suicide bombings from different perspectives. The articles cover three conflict arenas - the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Russian-Chechen conflict, and the Sri Lankan-Tamil conflict. The central question is whether the gender-related phenomenon of female suicide terrorism is in fact a function of gender-related issues.
