This report provides a detailed analysis of North Korean nuclear policies since the mid-1990s. The author exposes the diplomatic efforts in trying to solve the security dilemmas of the region. The author concludes that although the situation is markedly improved, much will depend on the continued use of diplomatic negotiations and confidence-building measures.
