This bulletin reviews Australia-India relations and focuses particularly on the growing economic cooperation that has come to define their relationship. The author argues that for India and Australia to fully establish a strategic partnership, both capitals must muster political will and encourage dialogue. Leading issues that could impede improved relations include a possible reduction in Australian uranium exports to India and Australia's increasing engagement with China.
