This bulletin recaps policy discussions at the 2008 Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore on security in the Asia-Pacific region. The Shangri-La Dialogue hosts defense ministers from 27 governments and provides a forum for governmental as well as non-governmental organizations to discuss security issues. The bulletin specifically presents insights from several prominent conference speakers and offers analysis.
