This study charts the 1999 results of the annual INSS public opinion poll on Israeli national security issues. It finds support for the Oslo accords is high, and the public prefers negotiation and conciliation policies on the Palestinian issue. Support for a Palestinian state reached an unprecedented high, and more than three quarters of those polled thought there would be such a state in ten years time.
