This paper discusses the Indonesian wing of Hizbut Tahrir, a transnational Islamic movement operating in over 45 countries. It presents empirical data on Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) as part of an effort to promote knowledge of the group in the Western world. The author argues that HTI's usage of different mobilization strategies have resulted in its ability to effect policy changes in Indonesia.
