This policy brief outlines why Amir Kasab, the lone survivor of the militant group responsible for the November 2008 Mumbai attacks, should have a fair trial despite public pressure against it. The authors argue that only a fair and free trial will ensure the right outcome, protect India's judicial integrity and address crucial cross-border issues in an organized and clear manner.
