So, what are the potential disruptions? According to this commentary, 3D printing technology will 1) continue to modify production systems; 2) overturn development plans, especially in relation to job creation and future investment; and 3) significantly alter the global supply chain. Given these inevitable consequences, Asian nations would be wise to recalibrate and even transform their economic aspirations.
