This paper examines the potential implications of Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election on US-Pakistan relations. It concludes that the troubled relationship will remain largely transactional and security-centric, although Pakistan should seek out US cooperation in converging areas of interest and engage in constructive dialogue on issues of divergence.
