The three articles in this issue of the CAD analyze Georgia’s parliamentary elections, which took place on 8 & 30 October 2016. In the first piece, Tamar Iakobidze confirms that no one is happy with the polarizing dual party system that dominates the country, but a reliable third option doesn’t exist yet. Next, Tornike Zurabashvili discusses three possible domestic ramifications of the elections. Finally, Teona Turashvili focuses on the gradual decrease in popular support for Euro-Atlantic aspirations within Georgia.
