This report examines the global and local benefits of increased natural gas usage in the Asia-Pacific Region. More specifically, the text’s authors 1) assess the potential impact of demand increases in China and India on natural gas prices and gas suppliers; 2) argue that such an increase would ultimately help advance US interests; and 3) recommend ways to nurture Asian demand through technical and financial assistance programs.
