In light of Armenia’s 2017 parliamentary and municipal elections, the three articles in this issue of the CAD look at 1) patron-client networks in Armenia and their relationship to electoral violations in the country; 2) the impact of civil society observation missions on the transparency of Armenia’s national and local elections; and 3) the major problems of Armenia’s electoral system and electoral law.
