This SIPRI Fact Sheet lists the Top 100 arms-producing and military services companies in 2015 and describes the international arms sales trends that unfolded during the year. Some of the text’s findings include the following – 1) there was a slight decrease in arms sales revenues for the Top 100 companies, relative to 2014; 2) while the decrease continued the downward trend in sales that began in 2011, it signaled a significant slowdown in the pace of decline; and 3) despite these trends, Top 100 arms sales for 2015 were still 37 per cent higher than those for 2002, when SIPRI began recording such data.
