What if NATO offered Brazil membership in order to stop Russian and Chinese strategic gamesmanship in Latin America? This publication unpacks this ‘theater of the mind’ exercise, concluding that there is no need for Brazil to join NATO, and that Europeans have enough problems to deal with without official linking arms with Latin America.
