The articles in this issue focus on 1) why some groups incorporate terrorism hoaxes – which are incidents that are believed to be serious acts of terrorism, but do not actually involve any direct risk of harm – into their attack profiles, while others do not; 2) a comparison of domestic terrorism incidents in the US, the UK, and Ireland, and 3) characteristics that jihadi terrorist leaders have in common. The edition also includes several book reviews, two research notes, and more.
