The Elcano Royal Institute is an independent foundation that performs analyses and promotes debates on international affairs, with a particular emphasis on Spain's external relations. Its research is thus designed to 1) provide useful information for Spanish decision-makers, both public and private, who are still active on the international scene, and 2) educate others about strategic-level Spanish interests.
