The Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies (CNAS) is a social sciences-centered research organization. Its main objectives are to 1) study the political, socio-economic and humanitarian problems associated with national integration; 2) promote and undertake studies on a number of issues related to Nepal and other Asian states (i.e., development, ethnicity, gender, migration, etc.); and 3) encourage and maintain international academic exchanges, affiliations and the coordination of various research activities between Nepali and foreign scholars.
