The Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF) focuses its efforts on 1) identifying the causes of violent international and internal conflicts, and 2) researching the conditions necessary for peace, which it defines as a process of decreasing violence and increasing justice. In support of these objectives, PRIF's political consulting and research activities are practically-minded and designed to provide options for action and debate.
